Before Cycling Legends Sean Kelly and Stephen Roche travelled to Continental Europe to find fame and fortune, Shay Elliott had been there. This was the Irish cycling star of the late '50's and early '60's and he was a true pioneer. We now have available a fascinating film on his life, Cycle of Betrayal. Produced and directed by Martin Dwan, this very moving documentary about his life on and off the bike shows the often hidden side of cycle sport; what happens when the action has passed you by, the wheels stop turning and real life kicks in. It really is powerful stuff.

Paris-Roubaix always captures the imagination and one can see why in Road to Roubaix, a brilliant new film now available, that looks at the magic of this classic race. Eleven-times Tour de France rider, George Hincapie dreamt of winning it and he tried.. his tremendous second-place finish at Paris-Roubaix in 2005 stands out. Once can learn more about George in a fascinating new DVD, A Ride with George. Beautifully made and a very individual cycling film, it is available now.
